PROJECT CELEBRATION 2008
Dear Viking Senior Parents, Project Celebration is a drug-
and alcohol-free party given for graduating Lamar Seniors immediately after
prom at the school. Prom has been
scheduled for May 24th. Seniors do not have to attend the prom to
attend Project Celebration; and it’s not necessary to have a date. This drug- and alcohol-free party is a Lamar
tradition and includes movies, casino-type games, fun activities and the best
part of the evening is cashing in on some really fantastic gifts! EVERYONE WINS! The Project Celebration Committee will
publish three (3) senior parent newsletters this year. The goal of these newsletters is to help keep
you informed of senior and Project Celebration events and to solicit your help
in making sure that all the events associated with Project Celebration are a
success. This event cannot take place without the help and support of
ALL SENIOR PARENTS! The committee is
busy planning, but we still need YOU! Throughout the year there will be
opportunities for all parents to volunteer, donate money, attend meetings and
help solicit funds and prizes. Please take a minute and look at all of
the opportunities listed in the 'Latest News' link and think about how you can be a part of the
Lamar community by helping in some way.
